Why This Kit?

The Magnum series runs hard through long planting and harvest seasons — a failed A/C system isn’t just uncomfortable, it’s a productivity problem. This kit replaces the original compressor and all wear-prone components in one shot, using a Sanden rotary compressor that offers:

  • Less engine load — lighter weight means less parasitic drag vs. the original piston compressor
  • Better cooling efficiency — consistent performance at varying RPMs during field work
  • R134a compatibility — works with the modern, readily available refrigerant standard
  • Widely serviceable — any shop with modern A/C equipment can service a Sanden system

Installation Notes

  • Flush the system thoroughly before installing to remove residual mineral oil from the original compressor
  • Use PAG oil specified for the Sanden compressor — do not mix with old mineral oil
  • Replace all O-rings with HNBR (green) O-rings rated for R134a (included in kit)
  • Have the system professionally evacuated and recharged with R134a refrigerant
